Constructing, maintaining, and repairing offshore facilities is challenging, requiring specialized vessels and human divers. This project investigates underwater mobile manipulators for maintenance and repair tasks, focusing on compliance and torque control, novel compliant underwater arms, and multimodal underwater perception systems.
